Combining Amoxicillin and Alcohol May Have Bad Effects
Amoxicillin is an antibiotic which is mainly used for curing different infections due to bacteria. Based on the statement of one of the medical doctors, the side effects of mixing alcohol and Amoxicillin together are all urban legends. The fact is, alcohol itself is a drug and just like any other drug, it should not be combined with Amoxicillin if possible. The side effects of Amoxicillin are exaggerated once a person takes in alcohol. It is always best to consult a physician to make sure these side effects can be avoided.
